Three year Medicare Accreditation Cycle
There is a three year cycle for Medicare Accreditation. Within three years from the date of your original medicare accreditation datemm you will have to be reaccredited
Medicare Accreditation costs for the three Medicare Accrediting Bodies are as follows:
CHAP – A $500.00 fee is due with your enrollment. Annual fees are $1527.00 and the first such payment is due once you enroll. When you are surveyed by CHAP you will pay a fee of $995.00 per day. In total your costs will be $8,066.00.for the three year period. $2027.00 will be payable within two weeks of enrollment, $2,985 will be paid in approximately nine months , depending on the date of your Medicare survey and $1,527 will be payable on the first and second anniversary if your initial enrollment.
Joint Commission- A $250.00 fee is due with your enrollment. Annual fees are $1500.00 and the first such payment is due once you enroll. When you are surveyed by Joint Commission you will pay a fee of $ 2,300.00 for the first day and $940.00 for the second and third day. In total your costs will be $8, 930.00 for the three year period payable in advance within 30 days of your enrollment
ACHC – When you enroll a $1,500.00 not refundable deposit is required, $300.00 of which represents ACHC’s administrative fee. You will then be sent a contract and 30 days after a payment of $6,900 is due, representing the remainder of your contract. In total your cost will be $8,400.00 all payable within 30 to 45 days from the date of your enrollment
